Cortona, a charming hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy, is renowned for its historic fortezza. The project encounters several site challenges due to its composition of five distinct structures situated on varying elevations.

The fortezza is revitalized through the introduction of a new Academy of Arts, creating a dynamic hub that attracts students and visitors throughout the year.

The project redefines existing circulation paths with contemporary interventions, seamlessly connecting the main public areas.
